Aladdin’s Turns 30 This Year!
This year we’re celebrating our 30th anniversary! Can you believe it? That’s three decades. More than a quarter of a century. Thirty amazing years. And it is all thanks to you. We wouldn’t be here without your support and loyalty; we are forever grateful.
We opened our doors in Lakewood, OH in 1994 and have been serving our communities health, heritage, and heart ever since.
The Aladdin's Story: How It All Began...
Before opening Aladdin’s, Fady Chamoun, our CEO and co-founder, began his restaurant career at Little Caesars working as a dishwasher.
He quickly moved his way into management, then an Area Director. Soon, he became a franchisee for the company, owning and opening 50 locations in Northeast Ohio.
While the pizza world was exciting, Fady’s true passion was Lebanese cuisine.
He sold his Little Caesars locations and, along with his wife Sally, opened the first Aladdin’s Eatery in Lakewood, Ohio.
Aladdin’s was named the top restaurant for multiple awards including Best Middle Eastern.
Realizing the demand for delicious homemade menu items, Fady and Sally opened Jasmine’s Bakery where they could produce the pita bread you know and love.
The first Aladdin’s Eatery franchise opened in Boardman, a suburb of Youngstown, Ohio.
Expanding into a new market, we opened our first Columbus-area Aladdin’s in Clintonville, Ohio.
For the first time, we opened an Aladdin’s outside of Ohio.
Fady Chamoun was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young.
Fady and the Aladdin’s team launched Seasoned Brands to assist in expanding the American-Lebanese market: Taza Lebanese Grill, Sittoo’s, The Oak Barrel, Forage, Boaz Fresh Lebanese.
The Aladdin’s family is celebrating 30 years of service! Today we have more than 30 Aladdin’s locations and more than 45 restaurants total.
We wouldn’t be here today without the love and loyalty of our amazing guests. We are forever grateful!
